E-mail Print

takingiton_150Positive Futures is a highly successful programme which continues to go from strength to strength and has more young people than ever participating in 123 projects across the country. These projects are providing a vast and varied range of arts and sports based activities. They are also supporting thousands of young people as they go on a journey of self-awareness and development to becoming valued members of society with much to offer and contribute.

In the year ending 31 March 2008 a total of 57,946 young people participated in one or more of the programme’s activities, compared with 46,674 who were involved during the year ending 31 March 2006.

Those taking part in the year to 31 March 2008 had over half a million attendances. This adds up to more than one and a quarter million contact hours with projects, which together delivered 112,067 hours of activity sessions.
