The Central Council for Physical Recreation is the national association of the governing bodies of sport and recreation in the United Kingdom. This Manifesto represents the collective policies of the 256 member national governing bodies (2001).
According to the CCPR, the earlier consultation manifesto, "Towards an Active Britain", received overwhelming support from local authorities throughout the country.
