2006/07 School Sport Survey

The Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) commissioned TNS, an independent research company, to conduct the fourth survey among schools in the School Sport Partnership Programme. The survey aimed to collect information about levels of participation in physical education (PE)1 and school sport2 in partnership schools. It took place during May – July 2007, and involved data being submitted by 21,745 schools. This represents a response rate of 99%.
