The School Sport Co-ordinator Programme (SSCP) is a four-year Lottery funded programme, which began in 1999. It is an application-based scheme providing financial assistance to Scotland’s local authorities and secondary schools to appoint School Sport Co-ordinators (SSCs).
The aims of the SSCP are to:
- Enhance the range and quality of current extended curricular sporting provision.
- Influence and assist the development of sport within the wider community.
